The 2023 Academy Awards featured well deserved wins for beloved Hollywood icons like Brendan Fraser (The Whale) and Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere All at Once), as well as first-time wins for a handful of talented artists including Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Sarah Polley, and more. Oh, and we were bamboozled by Jimmy Kimmel. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the special appearance from the adorable donkey was not actually Jenny the donkey from The Banshees of Inisherin. It was unfortunately just a random donkey.

The 2023 Oscars were filled with surprise winners, inspiring speeches, and a whole lot of tears. Take a look at every movie that won a category in this year's Academy Awards.
