| | Faster & Furiouser | The Fast and the Furious franchise hits the double-digit mark with this installment boasting four Oscar winners and Jason Momoa. Does X mark the spot or is there no treasure to be found here? | - "When this group is all together, racing around and blowing things up, it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement of it all. But with some of these stories—especially Cena and Perry’s journey—managing to be fun, they seem inconsequential." — Collider
- "While Hollywood’s highest-octane franchise shows no signs of slowing, it was crazy reckless to give the green light to such a clunker." — Variety
- "Fast X’s bizarrely self-serious approach might be palatable if every subplot apart from Dom’s didn’t reduce its characters to Looney Tunes versions of themselves." — Inverse

| | | It Takes Two | The premier of the White Men Can’t Jump remake on Hulu got us thinking—how many remakes surpass the original? Here are three that became iconic in their own rights. | | Ocean’s 11 | Sorry Sinatra—the Rat Pack’s original heist film doesn’t hold a candle to the suave sophistication of Steven Soderbergh’s remake, starring a never-better George Clooney and Brad Pitt. And unlike the 1960 movie, this one holds up. | Where to watch |
|
| | The Fly | David Cronenberg took a low-budget 1958 horror film and created a classic of body horror, as Jeff Goldblum’s mad scientist descends into insanity and morphs into a giant fly while terrorizing lover Geena Davis. Plus, the film gave us the immortal tagline “Be afraid. Be very afraid.” | Where to watch |
|
| | | Little Shop of Horrors | The micro-budget Roger Corman film about a man-eating plant became a beloved classic with the premiere of the musical adaptation Off-Broadway—leading to the film version that is known and beloved (and sung) by generations. | Where to watch |
